Side-Oats Grama (Bouteloua curtipendula) Seed Packet
Attractive bluish foliage have small bright purple flowers with orange stamens. In fall flowers give way to distinctive oat-like seeds that dangle along one side of the stalk. Livestock readily graze, wild turkey and birds feed on the seed and the plant is also a larval host to green and dotted skippers.
