Named for unique white (or slightly pink) flowers that resemble the head of a turtle. Nectar attracts bumblebees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Deep green foliage is a host for the Baltimore checkerspot butterfly. Slow spreading rhizomes can form colonies in ideal growing conditions.
