Dusty rose-colored flowers which bloom for weeks are magnets for dozens of species of butterflies and bees. Stems are strong and rarely need staking, they also have maroon spots and small white hairs, giving this Joe Pye its name. Host plant for the Great Tiger moth, and the Three Lined Flower moth
History: Iroquois would use a root infusion for folds.
