Dense heads of greenish-white flowers attract small bees and moths. Spread by horizontal roots to form colonies and can be aggressive. Plants are similar to Milkweed but most noticeably distinguished by flowers. USDA-NRCA lists Dogbane as “very high” in its importance to pollinators.
