Name is from Native Americans using the plant as snuff to induce sneezing. Daisy-like golden flower heads with a ball-like structure at the center. Late prolific blooms help a variety of pollinators including  native bees, wasps, and butterflies, before winter. To promote a shorter, bushier structure, prune back plants by half early in the season. This form of pruning is often called the “chelsea chop”. Host of the Dainty Sulphur.
