Description

Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) Seed Packet

Large rosy pink flowers with an attractive vanilla fragrance and month long bloom period. Less aggressive than Common Milkweed, making it ideal for smaller home gardens. Hawk moths, Swallowtails, Fritillaries, Monarchs, skippers, bumble bees and numerous other nectar seekers will visit – even an occasional hummingbird. Monarch butterflies lay their eggs exclusively on Milkweed plants, making them the sole food source for their larvae.
