Brilliant orange blooms and a lower mounded profile make this milkweed a garden favorite. Drought-tolerant due to a long tap root and slow spreading. Monarch butterflies lay their eggs exclusively on Milkweed plants, making them the sole food source for their larvae. Plant is also a host for the Grey Hairstreak and Queen Butterfly caterpillars.
